Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SynergyTech ("SynergyTech," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our websites and services, including synergytech.cloud and its subdomains (such as drive.synergytech.cloud, boards.synergytech.cloud, meet.synergytech.cloud, sign.synergytech.cloud, and auth.synergytech.cloud) and our related software products (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
- Name, email address, and authentication credentials when you create an account or sign in through our single sign-on service (SynergyAuth).
- Organization or workspace details if you use the Services as part of a team.
Content you provide
- Files, documents, boards, tasks, messages, and other content you upload or create in the Services.
- Documents submitted for electronic signature and the associated signing records (signer name, email, timestamps, and completion certificates).
- Meeting audio and video are transmitted in real time to provide video conferencing; recordings and transcripts are created only when a meeting host chooses to record.
Payment and financial information
- Billing details (name, billing address, and payment method) when you purchase a subscription or pay an invoice. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or bank credentials on our servers.
- If you choose to pay by bank (ACH direct debit), you may link your bank account through Stripe Financial Connections. With your consent, we receive limited bank account data — account details, account ownership information, and account balance — solely to verify that the account belongs to you, process the payments you authorize, and reduce failed payments and fraud. We do not use this data for lending or underwriting decisions, and we never sell it. Stripe's handling of this data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Usage and technical information
- Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used for security, troubleshooting, and service operation.
- Cookies and similar technologies that keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We use cookies for authentication and essential site functions, not for third-party advertising.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you across the Synergy suite.
- To process payments you authorize, including subscription billing and ACH direct debits, and to verify bank account ownership before initiating a debit.
- To communicate with you about your account, transactions, security notices, and service updates.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations, including financial record-keeping requirements.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes, and we do not use your bank account data for anything other than the payments you authorize.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Services, and only to the extent needed:
- Stripe — payment processing, including card payments and ACH direct debit via Stripe Financial Connections.
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, storage, and networking vendors that run our servers.
- Legal and safety — we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of SynergyTech, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
4. Data Security
We take security seriously. Measures we employ include encryption in transit (TLS) across all Services, encryption at rest for stored data, access controls and single sign-on with multi-factor authentication, and network isolation between services. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Payment and transaction records are retained as required for tax, accounting, and compliance purposes. Signed documents and their audit trails are retained to preserve the legal validity of the signature records. You may request deletion of your account and associated content as described below.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and portability — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — you may update your account information at any time, or ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and personal information. Some records (such as payment and signature audit records) may be retained where required by law.
- Bank account disconnection — you may disconnect a linked bank account at any time by contacting us or through your Stripe-hosted banking portal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at shane@synergytech.cloud. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
7. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International Users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be processed and stored in the U.S.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
